About Buddy ~ Blue Heeler (adopted Aug 2017)
Buddy is a 3 year old male pure breed Blue Heeler. Buddy is a very much loved dog who unfortunately has to be surrendered.
Buddy doesn't like male dogs when in the same yard as him and he'd be best with older kids. He barks to let you know someone is at the door or if he doesn't get enough attention. Buddy will need 6 foot fencing. His carer feels he would be OK with a submissive male dog or female but would need to be tested. Definitely no cats.
Buddy loves walking (mainly running) and is good on lead and is fine with other dogs on his walk. He's house trained and loves stealing his carers bed :)
For more information or to meet Buddy, please contact his foster carer Donna on 0466 099 426 or email trudgetty@hotmail.com . Buddy is in foster care in Weston, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Buddy's adoption fee is $450 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
