About Biggie the Bulldog
💙 BIGGIE 💙
🐶 2YO Desexed Male Aussie Bulldog
📍Newcastle (NSW)
Biggie is ready to find his forever family. He's a friendly squishy-faced fellow who loves to have his family around and strives on stability. Biggie will celebrate his second birthday 🎂 in 2 months time and we would love him to be settled in his new home well before then.
Since coming into MBRC care Biggie has received a lot of TLC and had the normal vet work done - C5 vaccination and desexing. Biggie had some trouble breathing so at the same time he had his soft palate trimmed and nostrils widened, this made a huge difference immediately. Biggie also had a nasty cherry eye which he has had stitched back in (twice). Our friends at Brunker Road Veterinary Centre have taken amazing care of Biggie.
Biggie is friendly with other dogs, but he can be selective with some dogs from time to time so a slow introduction is important and an owner experienced with bulldogs is preferable. Biggie has recently been staying with a family who have a cat, and he seemed ok with it.
Biggie is still a young boy and doesn't know his size so we recommend any kids are aged 8+. Biggie would love a family who has lots of time for him and will include them in all their everyday activities.
A very secure yard and home is a must for Biggie. He will need to sleep inside at night and be kept inside when his family isn't home. Being able to spend time inside in airconditioning in summer will also be important for Biggie as he would not cope outside in the heat on some of those crazy hot summer days we get.
Biggie's adoption fee is $500.

Applicants will be assessed in terms of best suitability for the dog. A meet & greet and yard inspection are essential parts of the screening process.
The first 2 weeks for every adoption is a trial period to ensure that both the dog and family are a good match. And once everyone is happy the dog's microchip will be changed across to the new family.
