About Schooner
Schooner is a 2 year old beagle x staffy . He is a friendly goofy tail wagging guy who would love a home of his own
Schooners owner sadly died and he was put in a pound where he faced being euthanized . On his last morning we saved him and his sister Maddie and they are now both available for adoption.
We feel they would be better separated as they tend not to listen when they are together. They are very good natured and love one another , but they also are great with other dogs so a home with a resident dog would suit Schooner. Also a home where he was the only dog and got lots of attention and walks would be fine providing he wasn't left on his own all the time .
Schooner s happy with other dogs and good with children , and he previously lived with a cat.
He is a little bigger than beagle and weighs about 22 kilos He will need good fences and someone to include him into the family and give him lots of love and walks.

Schooner is desexed, vaccinated and life time registered and they are in foster care in Clarence Town in the hunter valley

Adoption details
We require an initial application over the phone or in writing and then if a dog seems a match we can arrange a meet and greet at a local park or the foster carers home. If the meet is successful we then arrange a yard check and if that is satisfactory we require full payment on picking up the dog.
We then give a 2 week trial and if in that time it is not working we will refund all but $50 for admin costs. We also require that the adopter returns our dogs back to us at any time in its lifetime (without a refund) for us to rehome.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
