About Bodhi ~ Lab x Golden Retriever (on trial 6/8/17)
My name is Bodhi, I am an 11 week old male Labrador x Golden Retriever puppy. I am a playful little bundle of joy and want nothing more than your love and attention!
I am a very inquisitive little man who loves exploring and finding my next big adventure! I’m a little fireball who loves to bounce around and chase after my toys. I love playing with my foster sister but also like having my own space to have some quiet time by myself - I do however love to come up for a cuddle and lots of kisses every now and again.
I am very eager to learn new things! I can now sit, lie down and roll over when being offered a treat and I always love meal time but I will benefit from further training at puppy preschool! I am excelling at my toilet training and will let you know when I would like to go outside to the bathroom. I love my sleep and will sleep through the night so you can catch some zzzz’s.
When I grow up I will be a medium to large breed dog. I would love if you had a friendly dog that I can have as a companion and playmate however can have someone who is home more often then not. I shouldn’t be left for long periods of time as I am far too use to having friends to play with and get quiet upset when I can’t find someone I love.
I cannot wait to be part of your family and join you on all your wonderful adventures! I will need to be welcomed inside by you when people are home and love to sleep inside of a night at your feet.
My brothers Chase & Neo will also be up for adoption in the coming weeks!
As I am not yet desexed, I will only be available for adoption to the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast & Port Stephens because I will need to be returned to my vet for desexing when I am approximately 6 months old.
If you would love to hear my foster mum Emily rave on about me for hours, please call her on 0401 874 470 or email at kjr.ejw@gmail.com. I am located in Elermore Vale, NSW.
My adoption fee is $700 and includes my vaccinations, microchipping and desexing. I’ve also been treated for fleas and worms. You can see all of our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
