Hi, my name is Louie and I can't wait to meet you!

I'm such a catch, that I'm positive you'd love to meet me too. I'm loving, loyal and super smart! I learned to come to both a whistle and my name really quickly. I'm great off the lead now and enjoying learning how to play fetch, I'm still working on bringing it all the way back (but really, if you humans want the ball so bad - why do you keep throwing it away?!!).

I'm a great listener and I don't get tunnel vision even when I'm running about I can still do as I'm asked. I fast learned not to chase the chooks and I respond perfectly to various commands. No matter how excited I am, I can still sit and wait before jumping in the car, wait for my dinner, and have mastered 'sit and stay'.

A large property with plenty of space to run and explore is essential. Being a working breed dog, I can go all day! I love splashing about in water and tearing up and down the creek, getting muddy. As a young Kelpie, you'll understand the need to keep my active mind and body busy with plenty of stimulation & activity. I do calm down well at bed time and enjoy a little down time sometimes too.

I'm so super friendly that I make a fantastic greeter to our home but a poor guard dog, I'm pretty quiet and I'd more likely kiss a stranger to death. I love other dogs as much as I love people and I'm sooo excited to meet them all, though need a little practice keeping my paws down and learning when other dogs aren't quite as happy to see me as I am to see them. I haven't yet met cats.

I adore your company more than anything in the world! I'd be happiest with someone who is around often, so I'm perfect for home workers or people I can tag along with. I'm an angel in the car, very quiet and I'll mostly sleep curled up on the seat and will occasionally poke my nose out the window.
