Dear little Frankie

Frankie has had a hard time, he is so very wary of people and abandonment. He's had so many homes and its making him depressed. He bonds very quickly to his one person and then he protects that person for fear of losing them. This often results in him being snappy if he thinks he is going to lose his person, and then the things he fears the most happens (because he was snappy). SO! You need to be a resilient capable person, who is willing to put in the time and effort. YOU need to be the strong one and see him through settling in period, which can take months. Its really up to the right person coming along and not giving up on the little guy, you will need patience and not think he's totally ok after one week (a common mistake when things are king well) . Frankie works best with boundaries and interaction, it makes him feel safe, it makes him feel like someone is in charge and someone knows what they are doing. He carer thinks he is awesome and has no problem with him and all, but previously people saw a little fluffy dog and didn't think about his personality and his life and what he needs.
