Hello, this is Duchess! Duchess was adopted from us 3 years ago but has been surrendered to the shelter through very sad circumstances. She is such a shy, sweet and loving cat, and is looking for a family that will appreciate her quiet demeanour. Duchess has grown used to a home with a single adult, but has lived with older children in the past. Duchess is a gentle cat that loves to be patted when in the mood, and will simply walk away when she has had enough. Duchess does not feel at all comfortable with other cats so will strictly be an only cat! In her old age, Duchess has grown used to the lazy lifestyle and is now unfortunately in need of a diet - this will help her as she ages, and will reduce the stress on her joints and bones. Duchess will make a lovely companion with a great balance of affectionate and independent.
