About Charlie ~ Papillon (on trial 23/07/17)
I am Charlie!! Charlie is an adorable 10 year old Papillon. He is a loving little fella who loves nothing more than a cuddle and to nap on you. What makes Charlie so special is that he is an absolute cutie with his tongue always sticking out. He looks like a cheeky little boy.
Charlie is a companion pooch, as he loves nothing more than to be with you and will follow you all around the house. He is still learning basic commands however will come to you when you call him and is working hard on this daily. Walking him on the lead is a pleasure and he doesn’t pull on the lead and loves to stop and have a sniff. Big dogs can frighten him, however small dogs are ok.
Little Charlie would suit a home that has someone home a lot of the time, and would preferably be best as an only pet. In saying this he did use to live with two other small dogs and was fine. He is fine to be home alone and will great you in his cute little way wanting to play.
Charlie loves being an inside dog and has been sleeping on his foster carers bed and will sleep all night no worries snuggling up to your feet. Charlie would just like to say “please let me into your home and I promise I will work my way into your heart”.
For more information or to meet Charlie, please contact his foster carer Shae on 0411384219 or email shae-james@hotmail.com. Charlie is in foster care in Merewether, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Charlie's adoption fee is $150 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
