HEY! My names SPARKY and I’m a loving FLUFFY energetic man.
I’m super excited as I’m on the search for my retirement home. Although I have hit double digits and my age tells everyone I’m an old boy, I don’t feel a day over 5. I love exploring on my lead with my foster mum & Dad. I also love getting muddy during my outside play time with my foster brothers. My most favorited thing to do is cuddle up to my foster mum and have a good ole movie day.
During my search for my retirement home there are a few things I would like to request. I would prefer to be the only doggy as I just want to be smothered with all the attention. I don’t mind cats; however, I find sometimes they don’t like me very much which makes me upset and very vocal. Being home during the day and night is a must as during the day I love being outside but love cuddling on the couch and Night times I am a little afraid of the dark so being close to my foster mum is very reassuring for me.
I am a very good boy who has had a lot of years’ experience behind me, Eleven years in fact! I am a smart boy who has just learnt a brand-new trick. I now can use the doggy door. I still will need some prompting as I get a little scared of the flap but I know once I’m over that fear I will be a PRO in no time! I can also sit and stay but do tend to get over excited at meal times as this is honestly my favorited time of the day! I just LOVE food so much. My foster mummy was telling me how proud she is of me because I let her know when I have to go potty so I guess this means I’m toilet trained. See, I told you I was clever!
Lucky last fact about myself! I will need regular grooming as my coat tends to get quite dirty as I love being outside. My mummy bathed me three times during my stay and I loved it so much! The warm water running down my tummy made me feel ticklish and very happy. I would really enjoy having regular baths at my new forever home
