About Kelarni ~ Kelpie x Lab (On Trial 6/8/17)
Meet the happy and energetic Kelarni, who is an 8 month old Kelpie x Labrador.
Kelarni loves to play especially at the beach and with other fellow dogs, she is a friendly and happy dog with a beautiful caring nature. Kelarni loves playing outside but also loves sitting next to you for cuddles. She would need an active owner as she loves going for walks and running around at the park or beach.
Kelarni is still learning new tricks everyday so would need a owner who is home as much as possible as she needs a lot of stimulation. She is learning all her basics, sit, stay etc. but is still wanting to learn so much more. She responds well to food and treats when training.
Kelarni would benefit from a large backyard so she can run around all day and can come inside and cuddle at night.
Kenarni would love to be with either another dog friend or an owner who is home some of the time through the day who can play with her or take her for a nice long walk. She gets along great with other dogs and has a very gentle persona so would be great with children.
Kelarni currently sleeps outside with her fellow furry friend but if she was to be adopted to a house with no other dogs she would love to sleep inside on a cosy bed.
For more information or to meet Kelarni, please contact her foster carer Alicia on 0400 175 420 or email alicia.johnson26@hotmail.com. Kelarni is in foster care in Charlestown, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Kelarni's adoption fee is $500 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
