About Tails ~ Kelpie X (On trial 23/7/2017)
Meet Tails, a 5 year old Kelpie cross boy. Tails is a very sweet dog who is looking for a peaceful new home in which he can live happily ever after.
Tails has beautiful black and gold colouring and is a very unique, handsome looking boy - he looks quite like a fox, we call him Fox Mulder.
Tails just loves going for outdoor adventures and walks beautifully on his lead. He loves to meet other dogs and have a good play together.
Tails is a shy dog at first. He was very timid in the shelter environment he came from but is thriving in the calmness of his foster home and quickly gaining confidence. We think he would best suit a quieter home - perhaps not ideal for energetic young children who might overwhelm him. Tails would love to meet someone who can give him patience and lots of love - once he trusts you he will reward you by being an affectionate, smart and well behaved best friend.
Tails has not been observed to have any issues with digging, aggression, fence jumping or barking. He is well house trained. He has a medium level of energy, and will require a walk every day.
For more information or to meet Tails, please contact his foster carer Sue on 0419 634 957 or email suemasens65@hotmail.com. Tails is in foster care in Belmont South, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Tails' adoption fee is $350 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
