About Ava
Ava and her 5 adorable puppies arrived into care with open arms. She has the kindest, gentlest and most loyal personality around.
With the Ridgeback body and size, wolfhound fur and scruff and pointed ears of some unknown breed;her looks are just as divine as her personality.
Ava is in foster care with a pack of dogs. Ranging in sizes, temperaments and energy levels and she loves every single one of them. She has no issues interacting with others and would easily suit a social home looking for a social doggie.
She has also met some cats whilst in foster care and was more interested in the world around them. She has had them run around her, tease her and cuddle up to her and she shows no signs of aggression or agitation with them around so a home with felines may suit her.
Ava is very food motivated and loves nothing more than a treat or two to start her day. She is of moderate energy so a walk a day would suit her fine. But she loves to have a cuddle with you as well.
She has shown to have great toilet training skills and is learning and progressing well with her crate training, basic manners and obedience and also on and off leash skills.
She is suitable to a range of homes, one as a very much loved only dog or with another social and friendly and maybe playful doggie. She may suit a home with kid, although she hasn't been tested she is so gentle, loving and human motivated that we think she would adore the attention.
Fencing over 5ft for safety and security is recommended and a home that allows her indoors is essential.
Ava is located in the Hunter Region and her adoption fee is $350.
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
