Hiya! I’m Josie! If you’d like a doggy to be your constant companion, I’m your gal! I just love human company, most especially my Loved One :) I will be right close up against you. My old life was really quite tough. So when I go to my new home, at first I will be worried that you might abandon me. In my foster home, I howled and cried whenever my foster carers went out for the first week I was there. And then I realised that they always came home for lunch and after work and so I stopped.

If you’re not home, I will do my best to break out of the yard and wait for you at the front door. I’ll even be destructive. And really, what I want to do is PLEASE YOU and BE WITH YOU. I’m pretty clever and my carer says stubborn too! So I can open gates, move bricks, anything really to not be locked up in a yard any more. Recently I went to work with my foster carer and it was the best day of my life. I just lay under the desk at her feet all day.

I just looooooove my new life - belly rubs and cuddles are wowwwwww! I get to go on walks too and OMG they are awesome - the smells, what I see, everything! It is just the best!!! I have a lot of energy and a 1/2 hour walk every day keeps me just fine :) I can walk well on the lead too - and I’ve only just learnt that, so I’m very proud of myself. The secret is, that I looooooove food, so I respond really well to training with treats ;) I still get very nervous about other dogs as I haven’t met many - even if it’s a dog running towards me that my carer says is friendly. But if I get to meet another nice dog slowly, I will love that dog and have fun with it. I would absolutely love it if someone would manage all of that to help me feel SAFE when we’re out and about.
