About Louie
Louie and Lorrie were surrendered as the last of a litter of lovely Labrador Kelpie cross pups. They are very normal playful mischievous young dogs who still need some training. They are very well socialised with other dogs and with people. We took Lorrie with us to the Pet Expo and he coped very well with all the other animals and thousands of people. They would make excellent family dogs with kids to play with and places to go with the family. They are crate trained and love being in the house with the family especially on these cold nights. They are desexed micro-chipped, immunised and regularly wormed, flead and heart worm treated.
Adoption details
HappyPaws Haven is fussy about who adopts these animals and where they are housed and cared for. The adoption criteria is documented as a questionnaire and strictly adhered to. We do not adopt animals to people who rent unless they are long term rental at the same address and have landlords written permission.
We ask if they have thought about the attributes they want in a dog, lifestyle, childrens ages, prepared to train, etc. We also talk about responsible pet ownership, fully fenced yards, hours unattended etc. and finally a vet reference.
