Lachie

Lachie is a very easy going, relaxed old chap.

The highlight of his day is his morning/or afternoon walks. Don't be fooled by his age, he still LOVES his daily walks! He also likes to play ball – especially with tennis balls and he will bring the ball back and drop it, eager for play-time to continue. He loves to be patted, so much so that if you stop before he's had enough then he’ll let you know he’d like some more with some gentle nudges or a paw on your lap.

Lachie is friendly to all people but due to his age would be best suited to a home with children older than 10 years of age who know when he's had enough. He sleeps inside in his bed all night long and has never had an accident inside. He is also very good at spending time alone if need be – snoozing the time away until you return. He also likes to have a bit of alone time outside, even if you are at home – chasing birds, enjoying some sunbaking and watching the world go by.

When travelling by car, he does settle well and is also easily lifted in and out of the car, if the boot entry is high.

If you're the forever family for Lachie, he is ready to meet you and shake your hand – he’s good at that!
