About TJ
Introducing TJ!
If you are looking for a calm, loving and affectionate friend, TJ could be the boy for you.
TJ is well mannered and has some basic training under his belt. TJ is toilet trained, knows how to sit and listens really well to his carers. He will always do his best to please and will try and learn commands quickly to receive praise. He loves being told he is a good boy. He would benefit from further basic training to help him create a lasting bond with his new family.
TJ is currently in care with his brother, they get along famously but he can sometimes be distracted by his brother's excitement. TJ will be looking for a home with a friendly and energetic desexed doggie companion of similar size. He will need a friend to play with so wont be suited to a home with a senior pet. He has always had his brother so we think the transition to a new home as an only dog will be a tough move for him.
Whilst he has been in care, TJ has been with very young children without any problems whatsoever. He loves kids and is very calm in their company. He understands they need space and would like a home where the children understand he also needs his space until he has had a chance to settle in.
Regular walks and exercise will be important for TJ to enjoy one on one time with his new family. He also travels really well in the car and loves to go on outings to socialise with new dogs and people and to have the opportunity to explore new places.
TJ loves to be inside where he can feel safe and secure. A snuggle with you or a bed by your feet will suit him really well. He loves to be with people and to be welcomed inside to spend lots of time feeling like an important family member.
TJ has not been tested with cats so a home with no cats would be preferred
If you would like to offer TJ a happy place in your home we look forward to hearing from you
TJ is currently in Ballarat, VIC
Medical notes
TJ has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and regularly flead and wormed while he has been in care
Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
