About Skittles *On Trial in Her New Home*
*SKITTLES IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Named after the popular lolly, cos she’s sweet with a bright, colourful personality and a real love for life, Skittles is looking for a fun-loving forever home where she can enjoy an indoor/outdoor lifestyle with another playful dog for company; will it be with you?

Loves car travel! (and at less than 4kgs she’s a terrific ‘take-anywhere’ size!)

Loves hopping on the couch for a snuggle if she can get away with it!
And most of all she LOVES to give you puppy kisses to show how much she adores you!
This gorgeous love-bug has settled in well into foster care where she’s having a wonderful time with her carers own Staffy cross as well as a playful Terrier who recently headed off to his forever home. She’s also fond of cats though they’re not always as fond of her, unless they’re of the playful variety as this young gal loves to play!

Skittles is an alert little dog who rarely stops wagging her cute stumpy tail. She takes her role as the household watchdog very seriously and will let you know if anyone approaches the house or if something doesn’t feel right in her world. She can be a bit wary of men when she first meets them though soon warms up. This clever girl has mastered “sit” and loves to go for a walk both on or off-lead and knows her name and has excellent recall. She is toilet-trained and sleeps inside at night – Skittles actually crate trained herself! Did we mention she’s clever??? :)
We’re not sure what breeds make up Skittles hence we went with “Terrier x” though perhaps there’s some Papillon or Pomeranian or even Pug (given her colouring) in her? Whatever it is she’s a terrific mix who doesn’t lose much hair and will only need the occasional brush and a bath to keep her in tip-top condition.

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
