Dougie

Hi there, I'm Dougie the doggie! I'm just a friendly pooch that loves a cuddle. I will lean right into your and lap up all the cuddles I can get. I may even try to climb into your lap!

I've come from an older home where I got to run around in the backyard a lot but didn't get to spend a lot of time getting pats and cuddles. I like being around people and I especially love playing with toys (Fetch is lots of fun!). Even though he is an active breed he has a lovely, calm demeanor.

I never really got to meet a lot of other dogs while I was a pup, so I can be a bit uncomfortable around them. I may eventually learn to like them given some time and positive reinforcement with some nice friendly dogs but I'll need to be an only fur-child for the time being.

I'm a sweet boy that likes people of all sizes, but I'm also really fond of my food and I'd really like a home where I can enjoy tasty treats like bones or pigs ears, which will keep me occupied during the times you're away.

I'm quite a smart doggy and I'll bet I can learn a lot of fun or cool tricks to show off for friends or family if you spend the time with me! Please ensure you've done some research on my breed before deciding if I'm the one for you.
