Percy

Say hello to Percy, the little kelpie fella with the big heart! At only 5 months of age, he is a blank slate looking for a forever family that will show him how to be a fantastic doggy citizen.

Percy is a total smoocher, who loves to cuddle with his people. Percy has a lovely nature with people and other dogs. He is currently in foster care with a number of other dogs of various ages and sizes, and he loves nothing more than running with the pack. Percy is also living with children, including toddlers, and behaves very well around them.

As with all young dogs, especially high energy breeds like kelpies, Percy would benefit from attending obedience classes to not only learn the fundamentals, but also exercise his mind and bond with his family. He may also be suited to doggy sports, like agility or flyball, which are fun for dogs and humans alike.

While Percy has been exposed to horses, they excite him a little too much, and he would be better suited to a home without them for his own safety.
