About Rome
Hi my name is Rome. Sadly my best friend Ruby & I need a new home which has to be together because we love each other very much.
I saw Ruby attacked by another dog and since then I’ve been protective over her which means when I go for a walk I can get a bit defensive when I see another dog, this could be worked on at obedience school.
I’m house trained, good on the lead, I sit, drop, roll over and love to fetch the ball.
I’ve lived with young children but we’re both very boisterous and get excited so older children would suit us better.
I’m scared of fireworks like lots of dogs are.
We are both really lovely obedient dogs and hope that we find a loving forever home together soon and with someone that will help me get over my fear of Ruby getting attacked again.
So if you think you can offer me a good forever home where you’ll be able to give me all the above, and, in return, I’ll give you all the love and loyalty you could ask for! Please go to www.staffordrescuevictoria.org.au where you’ll find the Adoption Application. Please make sure you read all the information on the Adoption page, as well as the links at the bottom.
Adoption details
If you think you can offer me a forever home please go to
http://www.staffordrescuevictoria.org.au/index.php/adoption-forms-6
and fill out the Adoption Request Form. You will receive an email acknowledgement within 3 days. If you do not receive any further contact after this please do not be discouraged. It just means that a suitable application was received before yours. We encourage you to contact Jan at jan.hutton@optusnet.com.au every week to show you are still interested in adopting. As we will already have your form on file it will fast track the process when a suitable dog does become available.
Adopt one of our dogs and we are there for you for the rest of the dog's life. If you find you and the dog are not suited it is a condition of sale that the dog comes back to Stafford Rescue.
