Elke

Elke has shown herself to be the most loyal and loving of dogs, committing herself solely to her family and her furry foster sibilings. She is smart, learning a host of new tricks over her time with us. She is playful, taking her foster sister into the yard to play tug-of-war multiple times a day. And she is exceptionally affectionate, sleeping along side her foster mum morning, noon and night. Elke has very few hang ups but she does fear the unknown and is very timid and quiet as a result. She will need time and patience in her new home to adapt to all the changes but we know she will repay her new family ten fold with love and loyalty.
She has been housed with cats but should not be left alone with them.
She is great with other dogs once properly introduced.
She has been around children and is great with them as long as they are respectful of her personal space.
