About Dusty
Dusty has a zest for life than many could only dream of. Due to Dusty being a combination of working dog and Labrador he has an overt enthusiasm for people, play time, food time, sleep time...you get the drift. Dusty is a very quick learner and responds really well to food based positive reinforcement training techniques.
Dusty loves the company of other dogs but does need to be introduced to them slowly initially. He has been great with smaller animals such as cats and chooks. Dusty has chased sheep early on in foster care.
Dusty is in foster care with a family with four young children and he is great with them.
This gorgeous pooch will be a great addition to an active family.
Medical notes
Due to Dusty's anxiety he has been placed on a behaviour modifying medication to moderate heightened stress levels and facilitate training
Adoption details
Please contact us via email and we will contact you as soon as possible. If it looks like the pet will suit you, we will arrange a meet and greet for you (and existing pets) to spend some time with the pet and see if you think they will fit into your life.
If you decide to adopt, payment is made, a quick property check is conducted (we love our rescue animals and go through a lot to find them new homes, we just need to ensure their new home suits them) then you can welcome your new pet into your life!
We have a 2 week trial period so if the pet does not suit we will take it back for a full refund within the trial period. We will also take the pet back at any stage without question if you become unable to care for the pet.
