About Sid
Hi my name is Sid, I’m a very handsome boy don’t you think, even if I have to say so myself.
Sadly I’m finding myself needing a new home with very much regret to my owner, but it’s the best thing for me so I’m hoping someone wonderful will snap me up soon. I’ve been living with a special needs child who tends to scare me a lot, which is why I need a new home because it’s making me very unhappy and I even shake in fear.
I’m a bit on the porky side at the moment so I could do with loosing some weight. I do go for long walks each day but I steal the other dogs food who I live with, it’s a bit cheeky I know but I just love my tucker.
I’ve lived with children 7 & 10 yrs. old who I’m good with but I do jump up so could accidentally knock young children over.
I’ve also lived with a cat, I’m house trained, I know how to use a doggie door so I hope my new home has one, I love the car but do tend to want to sit in the front seat next to the driver, I walk very well on the lead, I sit & drop although I didn’t do that for Trish yesterday when she did my behavioural assessment, I didn’t even eat the food she tried to give me but she knew it was because I was a bit stressed.
I’m scared of loud noises but not thunder and lightning, I’m more scared of people or children shouting.
I’m very vocal when I play at the park and some dogs take that the wrong way but I’m just having fun, some dogs eh. they have no idea that us Stafford’s like to talk a lot.
So if you think you can offer me a good forever home where you’ll be able to give me all the above, and, in return, I’ll give you all the love and loyalty you could ask for! Please go to www.staffordrescuevictoria.org.auwhere you’ll find the Adoption Application. Please make sure you read all the information on the Adoption page, as well as the links at the bottom.

If you think you can offer me a forever home please go to
http://www.staffordrescuevictoria.org.au/index.php/adoption-forms-6
and fill out the Adoption Request Form. You will receive an email acknowledgement within 3 days. If you do not receive any further contact after this please do not be discouraged. It just means that a suitable application was received before yours. We encourage you to contact Jan at jan.hutton@optusnet.com.au every week to show you are still interested in adopting. As we will already have your form on file it will fast track the process when a suitable dog does become available.
Adopt one of our dogs and we are there for you for the rest of the dog's life. If you find you and the dog are not suited it is a condition of sale that the dog comes back to Stafford Rescue.
