About Ritchie *On Trial in His New Home*
*RITCHIE IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HIS NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Introducing rambunctious Ritchie! This lively lad would love a home as the only dog with someone who can help him reach his full potential; will it be you???
Picked up by the ranger outside Robinvale’s ‘Ritchies IGA Supermarket’ we just had to call this boy Ritchie, and in the short-time he’s been in foster carer he’s learnt his name as well as how to “sit” and he’s also getting the hang of “shake”. He’s even a dream to walk on a lead as he doesn’t pull, Ritchie just needs some help with his interaction with other dogs, as he’s a bit too rough, and then he’ll practically be the perfect pooch!
Ritchie adores humans of all shapes and sizes, they make his stumpy tail wag like crazy!! He’s even good around children though school age would suit him best as being young he does tend to jump up a bit when he’s feeling particularly excited. This playful dog loves toys and is quite content to entertain himself if no one feels like joining in at playtime, as you’ll see in his video:

Loveable Ritchie travels well in a car and is not a yapper though he will give a few barks when something’s not right in his world making him a good little watchdog. He is housetrained so would love a home where he could continue to enjoy an indoor / outdoor lifestyle. Ritchie is also crate-trained and happily goes in there at bedtime, or at any time during the day when he’s feeling a little sleepy, he just opens his crate himself!
Coming from a pound we’re not sure what breeds make up Ritchie – he’s got the face of a Terrier, the size of a Kelpie and the colouring of a German Shepherd, so who knows? But whatever it is it makes for a terrific combination!
If you think you’ve got the time, patience and love to continue bringing up righteous Ritchie then please download and complete a SARG Dog Adoption Application form by following this link: http://www.sarg.net.au/adopt-a-pet/

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
