About Kobah ~ Kelpie x puppy (on trial 30/7/2017)
Meet Kobah aka cuddly bear!! The 9 week old kelpie x puppy is the sweetest little man you will ever meet and will steal your heart with kisses!
Kobah is a happy little boy and will put his tail in the air, wagging it around like he just don't care! (S Club reference lol). He is very inquisitive and loves exploring but will run like a rocket when called just to be by your side. You won't need socks with this fluffy man sleeping on your feet any chance he gets. But sometimes he will find them and bring them to you anyways – what a lovely boy!
Kobah has mastered sitting for food, he will be a little super star at puppy classes. He will be a wonderful medium size family dog, with a heart of gold and a butt wiggle to match it!
Kobah is very well socialised and currently lives with 3 older dogs but his best friends are a 5 month old kitten, and his sister Zaydee.
His ideal new family will be able to spend lots of time with him teaching him new things, have good fencing with no gaps and understand the needs of a puppy. Kobah would love to have a friendly doggy sibling to look up to, but if you don't have another dog to keep him company then he will need someone who doesn't work full time All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
Kobah needs to be welcome inside and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. He currently sleeps inside at night with his sister and settles well at bedtime.
Kobah's sister Zaydee is also available for adoption.
As Kobah is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he's approximately 5 months old.
For more information or to meet Kobah, please email his foster mum Amber at amber_dogrescue@hotmail.com. Kobah is in Newcastle, NSW.
Kobah's adoption fee is $500 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and he's been treated for fleas and worms. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
