Heppell

Beautiful Sweet Active Heppell is ready to find his forever family.

He has been working hard on his overall manners and learning to contain his enthusiasm for everything around him. He is a young at heart pup and has energy to burn. He is loving, gentle and although sometimes forgets his manners and can be a little over the top when he first see's you, he is learning to listen and is responding to training very well.

Heppell will need a family committed to taking him to obedience lessons - as left to his own devises (and if he thinks for a second he can get one over you) he will run a puppy partying muck!

While in foster care he has been learning to enter the house by invitation only (with the back door left open he will wait patiently until invited) he is learning once inside to behave calmly, play gently with the cat, not annoy the other dogs, to stay in his bed when asked too, he isn't allowed on the furniture which he respects and when asked he goes outside and doesn't beg, scratch or bark to come back in.

We have achieved this with training and for this to transfer to his new home you will also have to be prepared to put the effort in to establishing boundaries and rules for him to follow. Once he knows what he is and isn't allowed to do at your place, he will reward you with a life time of love and sweet gentle Heppell cuddles which are his absolute favorite thing in the world!

Heppell spends most of his day outside but at night enjoys time inside with us and playing with our cat Gary. He is crate trained and will happily go to his crate at bed time and we don't hear from him until the morning when he wants the toilet and his breakfast bowl filled.
