Poppy

I’m bright and outgoing, and have lots of love to give. I am very loyal and there is nothing I love more than cuddling with my foster parents. Pats are my absolute favourite!

I have plenty of playful energy and while my human friends are out I like to explore in the garden. That means running, jumping, digging, chewing my toys, and playing with my doggie friends. My parents seem to like putting me behind a fence … Hehe … I think they have started to learn that I’m great at solving puzzles. You will need a tall fence if you want to keep me from going on adventures!

I’ve been sleeping inside through these cold Winter nights and I’m fully toilet trained. I let my parents know when I need to go outside in the morning. I am looking forwards to having some formal training and meeting some new friends at puppy preschool.

I can’t wait to have a family to call my own. I get along well with kids and other dogs. I will join you for walks and family outings … I’ll be your forever pal!

Rescue note: Poppy was surrendered to us by someone in poor health who couldn't care for her. They had obtained her from a friend and knew that Poppy's mother was a purebred Husky and father was a kelpie from the farm across the road ;)

Poppy is located in GOULBURN, a two-hour drive from Sydney. The successful applicant will need to collect her from Goulburn. This pet will come vaccinated, desexed, and microchipped, but council registration - if required in your state or territory - is not included in the adoption fee.
