About Ziggy ~ sweet Rotti x puppy (On Trial 21/7/17)
Been searching long for your sidekick? Best pal? Napping buddy? Dinner date? Here I am!
My name is Ziggy, I am a 9 week old male Rotti X puppy. I'll be ready to join you at 10 weeks of age.
I'm playful, affectionate and great for entertainment as I get my bearings on this puppy business, its just so exciting, and tiring! Is it bed time yet? When I’m not napping, you'll find me with my squeaky toys, puzzle, or lazing in the sun with my foster siblings. I have been raised in a home environment surrounded by love, children, other puppies and adult dogs - I get along well with them all. I have also met lots of people and I am friendly with them all.
I will grow up to be a medium to large dog. Puppy-training classes to give me the best start in life are highly recommended. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training. I really want to make you proud.
It would be a big plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate for me. If you don't have another dog to keep me company, then there needs to be someone in the household home more often than not. I simply cannot be on my own for long periods of time because i am far too used to having friends to play with. I don't want to become bored and upset you. I'd love to be apart of your family and join you on your adventures.
I will need to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. I've been practising using a doggy door to go outside for toilet and once the initial excitement wears down, I totter to my bed when I’m told "On your bed". I will make a wonderful family dog and/or companion and i am suitable for bigger children (4yrs +). You need good fencing with no small gaps. Unfortunately rural fencing will not suit me.
My brothers: Floyd, Lincoln, Tennyson and Jefferson are also available for adoption.
As I am not yet desexed, I will only be available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because I will need to be returned to our vet for desexing when I am approximately 5 months old.
Interested? Please forward enquiries to my foster mum, Lana at lanarawlinson91@gmail.com so she can send you an adoption questionnaire. I am located in Waratah, NSW (Newcastle area).
My adoption fee is $500 and includes my desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and I’ve been treated for fleas and worms. You can see all of our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Medical notes
Happy and healthy boy.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
