About Raf
Well hello there. Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Raf!
I am a sweet older chap and love nothing more than sitting with my human companion, getting lots of pats and cuddles.
I will need a little work on building up my confidence as I can be unsure of new people and environments at times.
I am not very interested in food but I tell you what, I absolutely love playing catch with a ball! I will retrieve it and bring it back to my handler and will basically do anything for you if you have a ball in your hand.
I will need some basic obedience training as I can be a little jumpy and boisterous when I get excited. I also walk beautifully on lead when out and about.
I do like other dogs and walking side by side with them but I do not like it when boisterous dogs run up and get in my face, this makes me a little worried.
I could be rehomed with another dog as long as they are calm, however I prefer to be around humans and having all the attention.
Recent blood tests have shown that I have early onset renal disease. Whilst no treatment is needed at this stage, I will require six monthly blood tests.
If you think you could offer me the perfect home, I would love to meet you. Come on down to the Adoption Hub and say hi!
