About Ned ~ Labrador X (on trial 18/7/2017)
Meet Ned! Ned is a beautiful 1 year old Labrador X with a lovely personality. He loves attention and in his dream world he would spend his day receiving pats and treats. Ned would benefit from a property with a big back yard and plenty of people around to help him burn some energy during the day (he has recently found his love for the game ‘fetch’).
Ned is a very smart boy, and learns quickly when any sort of treat reward is involved. He still needs some training though and would benefit from having a new family that were willing to spend some time on this. Ned gets very excited when his family comes home, or strangers come to see him and will sometimes jump up. For this reason, Ned would not suit a family with small children. Ned needs to go to a home with no cats or small dogs, as he can get a bit boisterous.
Overall Ned is a delicious dog and would be a wonderful addition to your family.
For more information or to meet Ned, please contact his foster carer Lucy on 0435769220 or email lucy@huntertennisresort.com.au. Ned is in foster care in Morpeth, NSW (near Maitland) and is available for adoption interstate.
Ned's adoption fee is $450 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
