Boof is looking for a foster home for one month from the 29th of August - or to find his forever home by then!

Boof is a beautiful gentle giant who has the biggest smile. He loves nothing more than to be around you wherever you are, either outside or inside and is always up for a quick game of footy or soccer and actively invites you to play with him. He loves his daily walks to read the news around the neighbourhood or explore new places. Boof also enjoys joining you for car rides and is travelling very well and quiet.

He is fine while you are at work, snoozing through a big part of the day and tinkering around in the garden for the rest. Once you are home, he will shower you with affection and just wants to be around his family and join you inside too where he is very well behaved. He sleeps through the night on his bed and will you know if he needs to go out. Boof hasn't been tested with other dogs and hasn't yet met kids.

Boof knows basic commands like sit, wait, lay down, stay and shake paw but some additional obedience training would be beneficial also to form a good bond. He waits patiently before he starts eating when asked. Boof walks well on the lead but is very strong and will need a committed owner to continue lead training. He can get excited when he sees birds and cats or picks up a smell. He responds very well to praise.

Boof doesn’t mind a warm bath and enjoys being brushed. He even turns on his back so you can access his belly. Don’t forget to give him a good belly rub once grooming has finished, he absolutely loves it. As for his new home, apart from a warm comfy bed inside, Boof would be in heaven if he could also have his own sandy area somewhere in the garden with some shade where he is allowed to move the sand around to make himself comfortable while you're at work.
