About Ralph
Ralph has been absolutely delightful to foster. . He is adjusting really well to being in a new home and just loving the furniture to snooze on and our laps to snuggle into. His a pro at the doggy door but would prefer company when going outside or anywhere really. He does get anxious at times if he can't find us and runs circles around the furniture and dog beds. I think Ralph would love a home with someone around a lot, cuddles and snuggles are a must especially at bed time with adult company preferred as children maybe a bit overwhelming for Ralph.
Playtime is at meal times, he dances on his back legs and waves his paws while talking "Hurry up! I'm hungry!". Ralph takes his time with his food enjoying every bite, his very gentle when hand feeding treats and sometimes he does like you to be near to supervise at feeding times. You are number one in Ralph's eyes, he is great with other low energy dogs and would prefer if he didn't have to compete for your affection, he's happy to share your lap or side with another friendly pooch. We have not seen any dominance from Ralph since he's been with us. He loves nothing more than to curl up hard against you on the bed, couch or chair to keep warm. He will even jump into your arms while standing. All visitors must be dog lovers as its normal for Ralph to catapult himself into the laps and arms of strangers. Every cuddle counts for Ralph. He doesn't like wind in his face, even if its an unrealized deep breathe, he tries his best to bite the air letting you know how unhappy it makes him.
Ralph has had his eye removed whilst in care due.
Medical notes
Ralph has had an eye removed whilst in care. His remaining eye is healthy and he has good vision for his age.
He has a heart murmur but is not currently symptomatic and does not require medication at this stage.
