About Tinkerbelle *On Trial in Her New Home*
*TINKERBELLE IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* If you are looking for a fun-loving yet calm and gentle dog we have found the girl for you!! Everybody meet Tinkerbelle; she is a friendly, young Labrador cross Staffy with so much love to give especially to children and other dogs. She is looking for that special forever home who will give her the love and attention she deserves; will it be with you?
Looking for a new home, as Tinkerbelle’s a little too keen on chooks (mmm chicken!), you can tell she’s been loved and well-looked after as she has wonderful manners and is pretty much perfect especially considering she’s still quite young. Tinkerbelle would really like a home with another dog for company if her humans were to be away at work for long hours each day, and she’d be quite delighted if there were children cos Tinkerbelle loves kids having shared her home with a 2, a 4 and a 5 year old, hence how she got her name!
Adorable Tinkerbelle enjoys spending time with her foster carer’s own dogs; they love to romp and play and when Tinkerbelle has had enough she likes to lie in the grass with her favorite toys - she is a bit of a toy fanatic! Give her a treat toy and she will be your best friend forever! She loves her soft teddies, but having Staffy in her they don’t last long with Tinkerbelle around!! Tinkerbelle hasn’t lived with a cat though she does tend to go nuts when next door’s kitty brazenly parades itself along the fence, so a home without cats or other pocket pets would be best.

This clever girl knows how to ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘come’, ‘heel’ (meaning to walk beside you off lead), and knows to stop when you say ‘no.’ Tinkerbelle is also very gentle on her lead with a harness, yet does criss cross in front of your feet only so she can take in all the smells possible on her daily walks! She also loves nothing more than a swim. In fact, Tinkerbelle’s foster carer has trouble keeping her out of their pond she loves water that much, so a paddle pool is a must in summer. And of course Tinkerbelle loves all things food (it’s a Lab thing!) so is easily trainable with treats. She is always very gentle with food and never snaps when being offered a treat.
Tinkerbelle currently sleeps outside in a kennel in her doggie jacket with her doggy friends but comes inside to sleep on those extra cold nights (She is toilet trained). She really likes spending time inside with her humans so an indoor / outdoor lifestyle is a must. And don’t let her boof head fool you as she is a little lap dog at heart and loves to smooch up on the couch if given the chance. Tinkerbelle is not a needy dog and will sit nicely waiting for affection, but if you take too long she might give you a gentle nudge and a lick when she really wants a pat.

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
