About Lotti ~ German Shepherd (On trial 14/7/17)
Hello, my name is Lotti! I am looking for my forever home.
I am a very pretty, healthy, short hair, Female German Shepherd and I just turned 1 year old. The past 4 weeks I have been a foster dog and staying with a family with another 5 year old shepherd and two young children.
I am very active and spend the days playing with my dog friend, chasing flies and whenever possible running around playing my favourite game, fetch. I really am good with other dogs and kids, and once I feel like I belong, I follow the daily routines and my older friend's good behaviours. I currently sleep on an undercover back deck on my soft bed next to my friend, Minty.
I must admit, I am not a fan of cats and I bark at them because I don’t know how else to behave with them.
I can understand basic commands like sit and stay but I really need some proper training and lots of love and attention. I do enjoy a walk but I am quite a strong girl and would benefit a walking harness. I need someone to help train me to not pull as I get a little excited when I am out and about exploring the world.
I will love you unconditionally and be a friend for life.
For more information or to meet Lotti, please contact her foster carer Gabrielle on 0421842897 or email gabriellegalvin@gmail.com. Lotti is in foster care at Blacksmiths, NSW and is available for adoption interstate. Lotti's adoption fee is $500 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
