About Rocky
ROCKY NEEDS A FUR-EVER FAMILY!
Rocky is a lovely 3 year old boy who has been in GSRV foster care for the last month, so it’s now time he found his very own forever family. He is loyal and people orientated; Rocky wants nothing more than to please his family. He learns very quickly and with ongoing training will be a fabulous companion.
Rocky looks and acts like a much younger dog. He loves to play but does not know his own size and strength! Although he is easily redirected, Rocky can be a little boisterous and mouthy at times, so would be best placed in a family with older children. He is good on lead once the initial “walkies” excitement is over, but further training in this area would be beneficial.
Rocky has had very limited, if any, experience in socialising with other dogs. As he is unsure of how to react around them, he can become anxious and defensive when in contact with other dogs. Due to this, Rocky would be most comfortable in a home as an only pet, however, he would certainly benefit from a positive training environment, where he could meet other dogs in a controlled setting.
Rocky has a slight limp; this does not seem to cause him any pain and x-rays show he is anatomically sound. He is a young and energetic boy, who is searching for an active family who understand his need for daily exercise and playtime …. and take him for some rides in the car too! A vocal boy who likes to talk with his people, his foster carers say that Rocky “loves to chat”!
Do you think you might be the right family to open your hearts to this fun, friendly and talkative young man? If so, please fill in an Adoption Application online via our website,
