You're familiar with the story of The Princess and the Pea? Perhaps that of Goldilocks and her need for a bed that was just right? Pay attention for this - an uber comfy bed - is just about the only demand I will ever make of you.

Well, I may have told a little white lie. Oops. Here's my extended list of needs and wants in my new family:

The attention. Specifically the hugs. Don't forget the chin scratches and that spot on the top of my back? Bliss.

The hangs. Quite content to lay by your side as you get about your business, to sun baking out in the back yard. Should you feel the need to leave me for the day just know that upon your return you will likely find me in the same exact position you left me in.

The noms. I will plead for as many as you care to give, gentle as a lamb as I take them from your fingers.

Whilst a play friend is not exactly necessary, I warmly welcome those in need of quiet companionship. A player I am not, a comforting presence I am.

Almost daily I hear them whisper I am "too perfect". I agree.
