Anita

Anita is a 12 week-old, female, Great Dane x. She is a sweet, shy pup with lots of love to give. She gets along well with other dogs, doesn’t mind our large dog. She plays well with her sister and hasn’t been around cats but I believe she would be great with a feline as long as they are introduced gently.

She’s been around my toddler who plays with her and enjoys her cuddles and company. All in all she’s a beautiful little girl, I think she will be about Kelpie size (possibly taller but personally I think she be on the larger side of medium) but a bit more stocky in the body. She has a very silly, cute personality and I think she will be well suited with a family who is willing to do extra training as she is easily distracted and still very young. She knows how to sit, and I would say she’s about 80% toilet trained. She sleeps in a large crate at night and goes outside before bed and first thing in the morning. Her potential new owners must be willing to continue to work on toilet training and basic puppy training.

Medical: Anita has had her first puppy vaccinations and will be due for her second vaccinations on July 7th. She has been desexed, microchipped and has a tattoo in her left ear to identify that she has been desexed. She is in good health aside from needing to gain a little more weight as she is still quite skinny. She’s slowly and steadily putting on more weight but this will need to continue once she’s adopted.

Suitable home: Anita will be well suited in a variety of homes/lifestyles. She loves being around people and included in on family outings so a home where she is allowed inside the house at night/during the day and to go out with her new family would be preferable. She will need daily exercise, lots of attention and basic puppy training to ensure she doesn’t learn bad habits and to instil good manners. This little girl has lots of potential and needs a family who can gently show her the way while still enforcing boundaries.

If you’re interested in making Anita a part of your family, please take into consideration that she will grow to be roughly a medium sized dog (at least), her breeds we are aware of should be researched and taken into consideration, and also she will need time to bond and settle in before going anywhere with her new family.
