Nursery is a quiet girl who came into the shelter as a stray. Nursery was initially very nervous around staff, and chose to hide for the first part of her stay. She then became a lot more interactive with time, when the environment was quiet and safe. We feel as though Nursery will react the same way when she is adopted and taken into her new home. Nursery is very affectionate with people she knows, and loves to knead on her bed while you pat her. Nursery is interested but a bit apprehensive of other cats in the shelter, so she would be more comfortable in a simple home with adults only who are willing to work with her, and understand that she won't make herself at home overnight.
