About Tess *Adoption Pending*
Tess is a beautiful gentle girl who easily adjusted to a house with a large, boisterous border collie, grumpy old cat, two young, loud children and renovations! No problems. She does not jump fences nor digs and is happy both inside and outside. Though if you're inside she will want to be with you. Tess is now house trained and is sitting more readily on demand. She has not been tested at the dog park but gets on well with the dogs on either side through the fence. Tess would love to find a family that will let her snuggle with them inside and take her to the park to play her favourite game of fetch! Tess is located at Bellbowrie QLD

Completing this application form does not place you under any obligation to adopt.
Safe Haven Animal Rescue Inc have a 10 day trial/settling period, if for any reason the pet needs to be returned, we will happily take them back into our care once a foster home is found and the adoption fee minus $50 (admin fee) will be returned via bank transfer within 5 working days. If the pet is returned after the trial period there will be no refund made.
Harvey Dog Training supports SHARI and has kindly offered to provide our adopted animals 30% off training/obedience classes. If you are keen to enrol your new puppy/dog please mention this in your email to us!
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application must be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer. You must bring your dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption.
3. The animal must not be taken on the day unless prior arranged (travelling over a 2 hr round trip). If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment details will be given, this can take 2-3 days to finalize before the meet & greet so please give time.
4. The 10 day trial period commences once the animal is collected.
5. Adoption is finalized after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
