About Milly
Gorgeous Miss Milly at only 8mths old is a mixed bag of love, sweetness, intelligence and a touch of cheekiness! We really do not know what breed she is, but looking at her photo you can understand why Milly’s foster mum fell immediately in love with her! Milly is about kelpie size.
Milly is great with other dogs, she is currently in foster care with two older kelpies, and is happy for them to show her the ropes. With resident cats to keep her occupied, she is quite interested but has not attempted to invade their territory.
As all young pups do, Milly enjoys chewing on pigs ears and raw bones, this occupies a great deal of her time! Milly also enjoys running around the yard during the day.
At night time, Milly sleeps comfortably in a crate and enjoys her cosy environment. She comes inside each evening and enjoys a cuddle on the sofa in front of the TV before bedtime.
From an obedience perspective, she has learnt to master the art of sit and stay fairly quickly. Her foster carer has found her to be a dream in the car, not a peep but just curious. Just a pup still at only 8 months of age she can still be a little mouthy.
Milly is an absolute darling and would make a great companion for a devoted dog lover. She really is looking for a human(s) who can shower her with affection and attention, now that she is out of the pound environment.

OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1. You see a dog you like.

3. If your are successful, one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a meet and greet at your home and conduct a yard check at the same time.
4. Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2 week trial period immediately. Adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
During the 2 week trial period, should you decide that this dog is not for you, you are welcome to return the dog (the more notice the better, to ensure we have a foster carer available) and your payment will be retunded to you in full, within 3 business days of the return of the dog.
**PLEASE NOTE: WE ASK THAT YOU PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT US BEFORE FILLING IN OUR ONLINE ADOPTION FORM**.
We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phones 24/7, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.
