About Leo ~ Mastiff X (on trial 1/8/2017)
Hi, my name is Leo. I'm a 5 month old easy going puppy who loves cuddles and pats. I love being inside following my foster parents around the house. I love knowing what's going on at all times. I'm a lucky boy who gets to sleep at the end of the bed.
I love going for walks and am easy to walk on the lead. I already know sit and no. I'm getting better at wait, shake, touch and down. I'm almost fully toilet trained with only random accidents inside. If you remember to take me out every 2 hours I can even go on command.
I get along with my foster brother and love to play with him so other similar sized dogs are ok. I'm going to be a big boy so would need good fencing. I have not been around pocket pets or cats but I am ok around children.
If you are looking for a happy boy and have time to train me and love me. I would love to become part of your family.
For more information or to meet Leo, please contact his foster carer Stephanie on miaandfine@gmail.com. Leo is in foster care in Newcastle area, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Leo's adoption fee is $450 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
