About Reno
Please meet Reno.
Reno is a very friendly young man who is totally devoted to his people. He loves his cuddles and will happily accept all the attention you can offer him. He is all about his family and would love a home where there will be someone home most of the time to offer his lots of time and company.
Reno has been with us for a few weeks now. He was feeling quite insecure from all his recent changes but has now settled in well to the routine of his foster family. Finding a home where he will receive plenty of reassurance will be needed to help him stay calm and allow him time to understand he is now in his new home.
Reno is toilet trained and loves being indoors. Whilst he has been in our care, he spends most of his time inside and sleeps inside every night. He loves sharing his bed with the other dogs so he gets to feel safe and doesn't feel alone.
We are unsure of Reno's past but know he is a very sweet boy. We would suggest a separate feeding area for Reno. He can be protective of his food and eats as though he has missed out on some meals in the past so will go looking for more if he knows the other dogs are still eating. His carer removes the bowls once dinner time is over so he knows there is no more food available and he will then go about his day. It will be good for him if this routine continues in his new home.
In his foster home Reno is living with other small dogs. He does seem to enjoy the company of the female dogs more so than the males. He gets along really well with them and enjoys their playtime and running around together in the yard. A home with a desexed non dominant 'girlfriend' would be ideal for Reno to help him settle in and offer his some special company while his family is busy.
Reno would well suit a young family who have lots of time and energy to offer him daily walks and will be happy to run around the yard with him. He is currently sharing his home with children and he adores them and loves to share his nap time with them. He would be suit children 5 years+ who will better understand that a dog needs space when settling in to a new home.
We have not had the opportunity to test Reno with cats so he will be looking for a home with NO CATS
If you would like to know more about Reno please send us an enquiry and we will be in touch shortly. *More photos to come*
Reno is currently in Dandenong North, VIC
Medical notes
Reno has been desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. He has also received regular flea and worm treatment while he has been in our care.
Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
