ABOUT
Norton is a cheeky teen with a sweet, gentle nature. Norton is the best company and will snuggle next to me on the lounge for scratches and belly rubs. If I stop he will head bop me to remind me that he is still there and roll around to make sure I’m scratching in the right spot. Norton is a big fan of being picked up but he won’t fight he will just stay still while you cuddly him. His fur is so thick and soft it feels like your cuddling a big teddy bear.
A couple of kittens came into the house recently and Norton has taken on the role of carer. When the kittens weren’t well and were confined to their room Norton sat at the door and when the door was opened he would jump up ready to go in. He was so happy when they were feeling better and he could spend time with them again. The kittens love him just as much and every night I will find the 3 of them cuddled up together asleep on the lounge chair.
He is trying desperately to be friends with the grumpy cat in the house and I think he is gradually breaking the barrier because she isn’t hissing at him as much as she was.
Norton is only 8 months old and still likes to run around like a kitten with his foster sisters and brother. He loves the cat tunnel, but cardboard boxes seem to be his favourite toy right now. Norton is an independent boy but does enjoy company whether it is his humans or the other cats in the house.
Norton can be a little shy when you meet him, and it takes him a little while to warm to his humans but with patience and persistence it won’t take long to win him over.
