About Edward
Edward is our special little boy. And he needs a very special home. The vets have suggested that he needs a more low key household due to a grade 1 luxating platella. As he is only young this may resolve itself but a household that is prepared for it is essential.
One that is willing and experienced to crate train him at a young age is a MUST so he learns the comforts and quietness of this if surgery is needed.
He will need to stay in the Newcastle/ Sydney and Central Coast district if surgery is needed as this will be included in his adoption fee if he needs it throughout his life. And we would prefer to use our trusted vets for this.
He is quiet natured so a home as an only dog would suit. Or one with a more quiet and calm natured dog. No young kids as we want to make sure he doesn't get roughed around but kids over the age of pre teens will be accepted.
Due to be a young pup, households with cats or other animals would be easy for Edward to adapt to. We would recommend for safety a household that has fencing over 5ft but rural fencing would be accepted as well based on the right application.
Indoor homes are essential for this litter, we will not be accepting households as outdoor only.
Meet and greets have begun and Edward will be able to go to his new home after the 19th July.
Homes are to accept that until we have received the DNA results, the breed listed is a GUESS so a small/ possible medium size dog when fully grown is to be expected until proven otherwise by results.
Edward and the rest of his litter are located in the Hunter Region near Gresford NSW and her adoption fee is $480 which will include his microchip, first two puppy vaccinations, regular and up to date flea and worming treatments, desexing and also Advance DNA test results to confirm the breed mix.
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED BUT NSW HOUSEHOLDS HOLD PREFERENCE AND ALL INTERSTATE HOUSEHOLDS ARE TO UNDERSTAND THAT MEET AND GREETS AND COLLECTION OF PUPPY IF SUCCESSFUL IS TO BE COLLECTED IN PERSON AND TRANSPORT (ROAD OR FLIGHT) WILL NOT BE CONDUCTED.

From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
