About Amber
Hi everyone, pleased to meet you. My name is Amber and I am a lovely young girl. I had a family of my own once, but they abandoned me. They gave me to friends to look after and just never came back for me. As you can imagine, this made me very sad. The nice people took me in and cared for me and tried to find me a new home. They approached OTC to help them find the best possibly family for me so I didn't end up in the wrong hands so here I am.
I have been in care for a few weeks now so my personality is starting to come through. I currently live with other dogs and I get along with everyone. I'd love to have a doggy friend to play with throughout the day so I don't get bored. I love to wrestle and tackle so my new doggy brother or sister must love it too!! I have been around children with no worries and I am not overly interested in cats. I mean, they're cool, but I don't know what all the fuss is about really.
I can sit on command and I am very, very eager to please. Shower me with praise, cuddles and treats and I will learn very quickly. I am still young and I haven't been properly trained before so there are a few things I still need to learn but I promise if you put in the effort so will I. With the right stimulants and the right attention I have the potential to become an amazing and obedient dog. It would be a good idea for my new family to enrol me in puppy preschool to help me out.
I am young and full of life and energy and absolutely full of love. I know I will make a family very happy one day

Adoption details
Before applying, please consider and finalise the following: real estate approval, fence repair if needed, outside shelter areas and look into the dog's breed dietary requirements eg large breed vs medium breed.
Once you are ready to adopt, please complete the OTC Adoption Application questionnaire below. This is not a contract or agreement of any kind, just an expression of interest in the animal. We will not authorise meets unless this has been completed and only approved applications may meet the dogs. Once you are approved and have submitted all relevant information, we will organise for you to meet the dog at your home, or in a public place. If you have other animals they must be at the meet.
If at the meet, you and the dog get along- you have the option of either taking the dog on the spot (in exchange for the full adoption fee paid upfront, and contract signed)- or placing the dog on hold for up to 2 days without any holding fee applicable. When adoption begins you will be provided with 7 days' worth of food for the dog, as well as what brand and type of food it is, so that you may change their diet carefully and slowly, or purchase more, if needed.
*PLEASE NOTE we do not hold dogs for 3 days or longer, without a non-refundable holding deposit of $100. If you are unwilling to put a deposit on the dog, we will continue to advertise and speak with other potential adopters and so you may miss out. We have had to make the deposit non refundable to avoid time-wasters, especially when it comes to puppies under 5 months of age. The $100 holding deposit is then subtracted from the outstanding adoption fee, which is to be paid at collection of the dog. Eg if full adoption fee is $450, and you pay a $100 holding fee so we can hold the dog for a week- the day you collect the dog you will sign and adoption contract, and pay the remaining $350 fee of which $50 is non-refundable.
During the trial period, should the pet become ill, you must present it to the OTC-approved vet clinic in your area and OTC will cover any treatment needed.
On commencement of the trial period, OTC will send you a copy of your signed contract, the vaccination cards, desexing certificate, microchip number, and will transfer the microchip into your name.
So. Ready to roll? Then fill out the attached short form, and we will be in contact to successful applicants asap. Feel free to follow us up via Facebook page inbox.
