About Bodie ~ cattle x puppy (on trial 23/9/2017)
Introducing Bodie! - a 4 month old Cattle x puppy that is bursting with puppy love and excitement. Bodie loves attention and will take any cuddles and pats that he can get. Bodie will make a great family pet or even be a fantastic best mate!
Bodie is full of energy and loves playing with the 4 other dogs of various ages and 4 children that he's currently living with. He's also happy to come in and just snuggle on the lounge with you. Bodie is currently sleeping inside in the laundry however he loves to come and sleep on the bed with you. Bodie is house trained and knows how to use a doggy door.
Bodie is very intelligent and already knows "sit", "shake" and we are currently working on "stay". We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
Bodie will grow up to be a medium size dog. It would be a big plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate for Bodie. If you don't have another dog to keep him company, then there needs to be someone in the household that doesn't work full time.
Bodie needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. Bodie does jump with excitement and would best suited to an active family with older confident children.
For more information or to meet Bodie, please contact his foster carer Kirby on 0417 819 061 or email kkelow@gmail.com. Bodie is located in Belmont (south of Newcastle).
Bodie's adoption fee is $500 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and he's been treated for fleas and worms. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Medical notes
Happy and healthy puppy.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
