About Samirah ~ Australian Kelpie x (on trial 3/11/2017)
Samirah is a 3 year old female Australian Kelpie x. She absolutely loves other dogs and will need a playmate or an active human who will spend time with her. Got a dog that's bored while you're at work all day? Samirah would love to come and keep them company for you, then you can all cuddle on the couch together of an evening.
Samirah is smart, loving, playful and cuddly. When she wants cuddles, she sits on your lap and sticks her head under your hand. She’s good with children but will chase them if they run and will jump up on them so older kids would be better.
She is learning well what is expected from her but will need someone who can put in the training time with her. We're teaching her how to walk nicely on lead. She is housetrained. She is great in the car, loves a shower and eats whatever she’s given.
She is a very loving girl but will need the right person, someone who will give her loads of affection and have patience until she settles.
For more information or to meet Samirah please contact her foster carer Joy on 0410 733 914 or email joy.was.here@hotmail.com. Samirah is in foster care in Woodrising, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Samirah's adoption fee is $400 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
