About Ziba ~ beautiful staffy (adopted by carer 1/7/17)
Hello! My name is Ziba which means beautiful, and Yes, I am absolutely pretty! I am a 12 week old staffy puppy with a beautiful white and caramel coat.
I have been with my foster mummy and daddy for 2 weeks now and have already integrated myself into the family with them, their little daughter of 3 years, the older foster doggie sister, even the cat! Although sometimes I do like to chase the cat because she slaps me, it is so much fun and now we are good friends and sit and watch TV together!
I am very playful but at the same time very gentle, so when I play with my little human foster sister I never bite her or scratch her. I will try to gently chew on her hands and lick her little face which makes her laugh and giggle for minutes every day. I am very good at listening to commands from her and I sit, stay or come when she commands me to do so.
Bear in mind I am only a puppy and still need some patience when it comes to toileting, but even in this I am improving. My foster mummy takes me outside now and then and asks me to do a wee and I do listen to her and do my business right away. Already I am getting the basics of sit, stay, come and wee. I have a lovely personality, like to play but also enjoy my down time too. My foster daddy calls me his little white shadow and my foster mummy calls me her sugar cube. Yes I am sweet and adorable indeed!
I am planning to grow into a medium to large sized dog. So I am probably more suitable to families with older children and would benefit from having another friendly dog to keep me company, and it would be nice if someone is home to spend time with me. I am super clever and I will benefit from puppy-training classes and I need plenty of affection, exercise and training.
I need to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. You need good fencing for me with no small gaps and I can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).
As I am not yet desexed, I am only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because I'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when I am approximately 5 months old. I must confess I am not looking forward to it!
For more information or to meet me, please contact my foster mum Anahita by emailing Adamandan@yahoo.com. I live in Blackalls Park, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle).
My adoption fee is $500 and includes my desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and I have been treated for fleas and worms. You can see all off my doggie friends that are available for adoption at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Medical notes
Happy and healthy girl.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
