About Dobby ~ Staffy x ~ On Trish 25/6/17
Introducing Dobby an adorable 5 month old Staffirdshire Bull Terrier x puppy who will steal your heart. Dobby is a happy-go-lucky bundle of puppy cuteness who loves every person and dog he meets.
There's one thing that Dobby loves to do more than anything else and that's puppy playtime ! He frolics and prances and will happily introduce himself to new dogs of all sizes to play. He loves a game of chasing, toys of all kinds and will already bring a ball back to you for a treat. Dobby is used to living with cats and is respectful if they put him in his place with a kitty swat.
Dobby was surrendered to rescue in the nick of time before being 'disposed' of so he is a very lucky puppy who is loving his second chance at life. He would love a forever family who will value him for the character he is for the rest of his life.
Dobby is a very clever little guy who wants to please you - if there was an award for "sitting up straight" to get a treat then Dobby would win it! He would love a daily walk or run (once he's older) or visits to the dog park. If you live near a dog friendly beach he'd be in heaven. Dobby would like to enrol into puppy training classes with his new family as continued puppy training and positive socialisation will help him grow into a well mannered adult.
Dobby would thrive in an active home where he has an adult friendly dog as a playmate and positive role model. He'd also do well in a home as an only dog as long as he isn't left alone for long hours and is involved in family life and activities. He'd be great with older kids who are confident with puppies (puppy teeth and jumping) and who will play with him to tire him out. As with most pups he has bursts of energy and then he has to sleep it off to recharge his batteries. He will need to be allowed inside the house when his family is home and sleep inside on his own comfy bed.
For more information on this darling little boy please contact Jo on email jo.payne.aus@hotmail.com . Dobby is located near Morisset on the NSW Central Coast.
Dobby's adoption fee is $500 and includes his desexing, vaccinations, microchipping, flea and worm treatment. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
