About Gypsie ~ 5mo Mastiff x Great Dane on trial 9/7/17
Introducing Gypsie! - a 5 month old Mastiff x Great Dane girl that has a heart of gold and a lot of love to give.
Gypsie came into care with no training, however she is a fast learner. She already knows "sit" and "come" and we are working on "stay". Toilet training is a work in progress, but so far she is doing really well. Training classes are recommended to give Gypsie the best start in life.
Gypsie is going to be a large dog and will need a secure yard with plenty of room to play. Gypsie sleeps inside in the laundry and spends her time both indoors lazing on the lounge and in the yard exploring.
Gypsie can be timid at first but gets along well with the 3 dogs she is currently living with and everyone she meets including children. She would be best suited to family with confident older children as she does jump with excitement and doesn't realise her size. Gypsie needs to be with a family that will give her the time, love and attention that she needs.
Gypsie is a beautiful, young girl who will make her new family very happy.
For more information or to meet Gypsie, please contact her foster carer Alicia by emailing alicia.isaacs17@gmail.com. Gypsie is located in Port Stephens (north of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Gypsie's adoption fee is $450 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all of our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
